The ID5 Laser Engraving for National ID Cards

The IXLA ID5 Laser ID Card system has been selected as the industry favorite to produce Resident ID Cards in Peru and in other countries around the globe. Peru alone has acquired over 35 of the ID5 units making Peru one of the largest installations for this equipment.

Latin America has faced the necessity to improve the security of their national ID Cards, Driver Licenses, and Passports. The ID Cards produced by the IXLA laser-engraving equipment incorporate multi-layered security features and offer a high level of visual security to make identification and verification possible without the need for additional technology devices. National ID Cards and government-issued personalized documents are produced with many or all of these features to mitigate illegal duplication of National ID Cards, and eliminate the risk of identity theft.

The IXLA Model ID5 has the cutting-edge technology for these ID projects, and its technical capabilities and functionality ensures the highest level of security, resulting in National ID Cards that are impossible to duplicate. Polycarbonate is the preferred material of choice given its laser-engraving qualities to create a tamper-proof and fraud-resistance ID Card with a 10-year longevity lifespan.

In addition, the ID5 can laser-engrave polycarbonate and PVC Cards, as well as encode smart cards, magnetic cards, and RFID cards. These secure ID cards, passports, and other government documents meet the Government requirements under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.
