OPPO JOINS INTEL AND ERICSSON TO GROW IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

THE CHINA MOBILE PHONE COMPANY SIGNS AGREEMENTS WITH INTEL AND ERICSSON TO BE ABLE TO USE ALMOST 600 PATENTS FROM BOTH COMPANIES.

 

Oppo, one of the large Chinese telephone companies managed to sign patent agreements with Intel and Ericsson, ensuring an entry into the international market. With the power to use almost 600 patents from both companies, they will be able to create new products that are attractive to the people.

The company has explained that this agreement with Intel includes a transfer of 58 patents in areas related to mobile telephony and in turn has acquired the rights to more than 500 Ericsson patents, which include: United States, Europe, China and India.

One of the key points in this agreement is the mobile technological development of the 5G network, an area where Oppo has been working for a long time. This year it has already deployed patents in more than 20 countries and regions around the world where it has submitted around 2,200 applications regarding this technology.

Until July 8, 2019, Oppo had filed more than 37,000 patent applications worldwide, of which around 85% were invention patents, and had been granted more than 11,000 patents in total.
